Focus Meditation

10 breaths to stay more focused and present in everything you do.

Grab anything that makes a simple seat comfortable for you: folded blankets, bolsters, blocks, etc.

For being such a simple thing in concept, focus can prove pretty elusive throughout our days. Fortunately, the tools that can help us develop and sharpen our focusing skills are quite simple and always at hand: our breath and the ability to count to 10. Sounds easy, right? Well, it may be a little more challenging than you think! Join Jean Marie to learn this meditation practice that will help us stay more focused and present in everything we do. Enjoy!

5 Minute Core

A super quick yoga session for a super strong core.

Before you start: 
Get a mat or blanket to make lying down more comfortable.

Short on time? No problem! This super quick yoga session will take you through some of Kassandra's favorite exercises to strengthen the abdominals for a super strong core! Having proper core engagement helps make your yoga practice smoother and your transitions easier. I recommend doing these exercises daily and slowly increasing the repetitions when you reach a plateau.

Stealth Mode Yoga

Incorporate your yoga into your everyday life in any situation.

We can't always stop, drop, and yoga but we can employ some stealthy yoga anywhere, anytime just when we need it most! Join Jean Marie for some foundational ways you can incorporate your yoga into your everyday life in any situation - super stealth mode style. It will help you stay cool, calm, and collected and maybe even help the people around you become more at ease, too. Enjoy!

Low Back TLC

Poses to relieve discomfort in your lower back.

Before you start:
Grab 2 blocks or thick books

Description:
If you suffer from tenderness or tension in the lower back, gentle yoga can offer a lot of support and relief. In this class we will mix different styles of yoga such as hatha, yin and restorative as I guide you through my favorite poses to do when I feel compression in my low back.
You will need two blocks for this class and if you're new to yoga, don't worry! This class with Kassandra is very beginner friendly and can be done in the morning or in the evening to unwind after a long day. Enjoy!

Because of this passion, I earned my B.A. in Peace and Conflict Studies at UC Berkeley, I've put in over 1000 hours training as a yoga instructor and over 3000 hours teaching, and I've co-founded MOJO Thrive. All of this I've done with a mission of helping bring about positive change in our world by empowering people to thrive through healthy, happy personal choices every day.

Growth and change doesn't come about all at once in a big, dramatic fashion. Rather, we learn to thrive gradually, by establishing little habits of happiness, one upon another, until eventually we find that over time we've shaped the life of which we've always dreamed.
