Whenever I catch myself getting daunted by the seeming enormity of it all (and that can be more frequently than I would hope), I remind myself of the nuggets of wisdom in this episode. I hope there's some insight here for you, too, that helps with whatever looming things you've got going on in your week.
Whether you realize it or not, we give ourselves prescriptions for better health and well-being, perhaps even more mojo, all the time. Be it a new exercise routine, or an eating habit, a financial budget, a morning routine, or even…a yoga challenge, we can always come up with an idea and a plan for some form of “medicine” that we believe will better ourselves. Just think about it: how many prescriptions for more mojo have you come up with for yourself this year?
Have you ever tried to hold a clump of sand in your hands? Of course you have. Then you know that the more tightly you try to grip it the more the sand just falls from every crack and crevice. You also know the other side of that coin, too: if you're too lackadaisical you'll drop the whole load. To keep a hold on as much of your precious sand as possible, your grip must be structured yet relaxed, balanced, and at ease. It's much the same with our grip on anything we do to build our ideal lifestyle.
Change can be difficult, and boy have we had a lot of changes around MOJO lately!
