Whenever I catch myself getting daunted by the seeming enormity of it all (and that can be more frequently than I would hope), I remind myself of the nuggets of wisdom in this episode. Be it a new exercise routine, or an eating habit, a financial budget, a morning routine, or even…a yoga challenge, we can always come up with an idea and a plan for some form of “medicine” that we believe will better ourselves. Day 1 of The Find Your MOJO Challenge details some of my favorite ways to practice gratitude, which just so happens to be the #1 happiness practice in our challenge for this week.
Happiness: it's something for which we spend a lot of time and energy striving and searching. In our culture, happiness is something to be pursued. Yet, science has long demonstrated that happiness tends to be more of a propensity than a result. So, if happiness does indeed come from within, can we do anything to increase our propensity for it? Well, I believe yoga says absolutely yes!
