Well, folks, here we are almost at the end of January. It's time to do our first check-in with our Year by Design goals and action plans. If you've not started your tracking yet, you can get the worksheets for free at the end of this post and start anytime. What's that saying? The best time to plant a tree... Ok, I'll go first. As I sit here looking over my worksheets for the first month and the next, I'd say I did pretty well. I definitely killed it in the arena of "Level-Up My Personal Development" where I scored a mighty 7 out of 8 complete so far. I did not kill it in audience-building for my businesses and building our Kumie Korp (personal household business), both with a whopping 2 out of 6 complete so far. But we still have a week to go, so I'll take heart! I also have a larger project I'm working on, and made solid headway in, but I can't tell you about that one just yet...
So, how about your list? If you've done some or all of your worksheets, you are a rockstar already! It takes consistent, dedicated energy to work on ourselves and the direction of our lives. It's hard work, and most people are not up to the task. You are fast-tracking your own personal development, and for that I must say, "Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
If you're sitting there thinking, "Whatever, I can't come up with anything for this sort of crap." Well, you're certainly not alone if you're struggling with dreaming up goals. It happens to me all the time. That's why I have a crazy person like my partner around to do all the out-of-the-box thinking. So, if you're like me on this front and don't have a lovably crazy person following you around, be sure to scroll all the way down to the bottom of this post for a great podcast I heard this week that got me fired up to 10x my visions. Hopefully some inspiration from some of the world's craziest will help you kickstart your creativity.
Here's that bit of inspiration I mentioned. If you don't have time to listen to this episode of the Tim Ferris Show here, you can always visit it later on Tim's website or on your Stitcher app. And thanks again, just for being you.
